Welcome!

Registration

Registration

We are looking forward to a great year and to continue to grow the program and opportunities for students and families to engage in learning about our faith.

Classes will be held 2 Sundays per month from 9-10:15am and there will be a monthly Faith Formation Mass as well.  We will kick off the year on September 21st with a Faith Formation Family Mass at 10:30am followed by a reception and folder pickup on the church lawn.

If you have any questions about the program  or  are interested in helping as a teacher, assistant or substitute, please contact Christina Smith  (dre@stmarkjtn.org)

Note:  Sunday Mass times are 8am and 10:30am.  This allows for families to attend either Mass as well as for us to use the church during class time for special activities.

CIRCLE OF GRACE

The Circle of Grace program is a curriculum that educates and empowers children and young people to actively participate in a safe environment for themselves and others.

Through Circle of Grace, adults assist children and youth in recognizing that each of us lives within a Circle of Grace that holds our very essence in body, mind, heart, soul and sexuality. Children and youth are taught to identify and maintain appropriate physical, emotional, spiritual and sexual boundaries; recognize when boundary violations are about to occur; and demonstrate how to take action when boundaries are threatened or violated. Circle of Grace is clinically sound and grounded in the Catholic tradition. Its strong parent component means parents can actively participate in their children's education and formation.

Each October, class time is set aside to share age appropriate lessons with the students.  Additionally, the topics and themes are woven into the overall curriculm througout the year.
